Meet the Team

Hey everyone! Here’s a little bit about our story.

My name is Melissa and as a professional photographer, I have used studio spaces for years to capture unforgettable moments and milestones for my clients. It wasn’t until I moved to Buckeye, AZ back in 2021 that I realized that there weren't any studio spaces for rent in the West Valley. I found myself always commuting to Downtown Phoenix or the surrounding areas, to rent studio spaces for my clients. Fast forward to 2023, I had the privilege of shooting my friend Morgan’s maternity pictures in Mesa. We both got to talking about how much easier the session would have been had we had a rental space available to us in the West Valley (where we both reside!). This is when the idea of West Streets Studio was born and we decided to bring this vision to life. 
With the creation of West Streets Studio, we aim to provide a unique space where creatives from Buckeye, Verrado, Goodyear and other surrounding areas could rent without having to spend their resources on gas or much time on their commute.
Here at West Streets Studio, we also plan to aid in the revitalization of downtown Buckeye. We hope to grow and learn while building bridges between West Streets Studio and those that serve our vibrant community. We will host community events, encourage photographers to hold mini sessions, have character meet-and-greets, and bring to life anything else that comes to mind. I mean, the possibilities are endless am I right? 

We can’t wait to see all of the unique and creative work that will come out of our space and look forward to all the amazing people we’ll meet along the way.
